Congratulations to the ladies who won our first challenge and who will be invited to serve as our Designers for our next challenge!  These ladies will also have the opportunity to create their own Mystery Boxes for future challenges!  Thanks, Ladies!  Please grab your "I Solved The Mystery Badge".

Julia Vasquez and Felisa Montee will also be invited to create inspirational designs for an upcoming challenge.

Here is my completed project for the challenge:

A Book Card
Mystery Ingredient:  Kraft Cover and Flower.  Glitter:  Flower

(1) We will not have a permanent Design Team, instead,  3 designers will be chosen from each challenge and will be invited to create the inspiration projects for the next challenge. 

(2)  Designers chosen to for the DT will be given the opportunity to determine the contents of upcoming Mystery Boxes.

(3)  All Mystery box items must be used. When colors are specified, they must be prominent in the design. 

Designers may use any artist.  

This challenge is about design, thinking and stepping outside our comfort zones.

Some Mystery Boxes may require rubber stamps as opposed to digital Images and vice versa.

The Mystery Box Contents will be very generic.  Hopefully, most of the  items are already languishing in your craft room just waiting to be used.  We are not enablers!

Mystery Box Challenge #1 - 12/8 - 12/21


Welcome to Nicely Done Designs Challenge Blog.
   Mystery Box Challenge #1
 Create a design using ALL of the items in our Mystery Box.
Buttons, Twine, Handmade Flowers, Corrugated Cardboard


Here is the Project I created for this Challenge:
The Poor Man's Shadow Box
The Box was made from a Corrugated Amazon shipping box.  The Plastic Lid came from
a glazed pen container.  Handmade Flower and Two Buttons with Twine
INSIDE THE LID - Embellishing both sides creates a layered look!

For every 20 entries, there will be a $5 gift certificate for digis up for grabs, up to a maximum of  four gift certificates per month. Only followers are eligible.
